So, You've made up your mind to buy a Digital Camera.
Having done some research myself, I prepared a list of things you should know while you are buying a Digital Camera.
Price of the Camera: It is the most important factor while buying a digital camera. When you go out or purchase online you will see that SONY is the most recommended name but that does not mean it is the best. It only means SONY is the most expensive camera. Cannon and Nikon offer better quality and cheaper price options.
Memory Stick: Memory stick or chip is another thing you should include in your pricing. Get at least 1 GB memory when you are ready to buy a camera.
Megapixels: This a more of a modern jargon. Any camera above 5 megapixels is good, however these days the trend is of 7 megapixels. A normal user would never make out any difference between a 7.2 megapixels camera or a 7 megapixels camera.
Battery Life: Just make sure that you know about the battery backup of your camera. Choose the camera with maximum battery backup.
Zoom Feature You will be made to count n number of features but you should be most concerned about the zoom feature. 3x or 4x zoom is considered good for photography.
My choice of a digital camera would be a combination of the above written features. I might go a little deep into researching about the quality of lense but broadly I would just want to know bout megapixels battery backup, and the zoom feature. Price of course will be a consideration. the camera the most suitably matches all these four critereas would be my ideal Digital Camera.
